Many streams flow into the rivers, Mahaweli Ganga, Amban Ganga, Kalu Ganga and Dunuwila Oya.They are fed by waters,cascading down a colourful ridge,named Sudu Kanda. Here also lie the remnants of several tanks and tank systems of Sri Lanka's historic past.
