Victoria Golf & Country Resort

It's a secret you might not want to share. You might want to keep to yourself the award-winning golf course, the year round temperate tropical climate, the swimming pool, luxury accommodation and warm friendly welcome at the international resort.
Victoria offers a feast for the senses. Wander down fairways lined by majestic Mara Rain Trees, just as two or three white egrets swoop across the landscape; absorb the fragrance of magnificently flowering shrubs, take an evening swim in our infinity pool with unparalleled views of mountains and flowing landscapes, or play a set or two of tennis. Then there is dinner on the Terrace as the sun sets behind the magnificent Knuckles Mountain Range
Readers of Asian Golf Monthly Magazine have voted Victoria Golf & Country Resort as the Best Golf Course on the Sub - Continent for the second time! At the Award Ceremony at the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen, China our Marketing Executive received the award on behalf of Victoria Golf Club. We are very privileged and proud to have won this prestigious award.

The new restaurant ‘the Araliya’ with an indoor seating capacity of 60 diners and patio dining for a further 48, was opened during a gala occasion , by the Hon Minister for Livestock Development, Hon C B Ratanayake, following a golf tournament sponsored by Lexmark. The Robert Turner designed restaurant adds a new modern dimension to the resort, blending into the natural landscape, and providing patrons with spectacular views over the golf course and the Knuckles Ranges in the distance. Patrons members and guests were treated to a spectacular display of Traditional Kandy dancing, while enjoying a sumptuous dinner prepared in the new state of the art kitchen, by Chef Seahan and his staff.
